Rome City Schools remains dedicated to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students, staff, and visitors. As part of our ongoing commitment, we’re continuing to reinforce key safety measures. Additionally, we urge families to be mindful of their children’s online activity and monitor their social media usage.

Rome City Schools has collaborated with local and state law enforcement to thoroughly investigate any and all threats. We’ve worked closely with these agencies to ensure our schools maintain a strong safety focus, as we’ve done throughout the year.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a safe and secure learning environment for our students and community.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Sept. 21, and the Farmers’ Market for Families at the Parent Resource Center. There will be free produce and a free children’s book while supplies last. The event is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and includes a craft station and petting zoo for kids, music, a community resource fair, and more. We can’t wait to see everyone there. #ReimagineRCS

Help us keep our students safe! 🛑 Georgia’s new law, Addy's Law (House Bill 409), has increased fines for passing a stopped school bus. Please remember to STOP when you see a school bus with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended. Let's work together to protect our children. #AddysLaw #SchoolBusSafety #RCSSafetyTips
